International Presenters Program (IPP)

The International Presenters Program (IPP) brings together dance artists, presenters, curators, and cultural leaders from across Canada and worldwide to experience new dance works, discover Canadian artists from across the country, and share knowledge. The 4-day program, hosted in collaboration with Fall for Dance North and local and national partners, will include performances, showcases, pitch sessions, and networking opportunities.

Types of Registration

PRESENTER BADGE 

Canadian and international presenters, programmers, curators and cultural leaders can register for a PRESENTER badge, which provides access to all IPP 2026 events and activities (i.e. tickets for 4 mainstage performances, 4 IPP Exclusive performances, 6 showcases, 1 pitch session, networking events, hospitality, public transportation within Toronto and a welcome pack). This does not include travel and accommodations.

DAILY PASS BADGE

Available to Canadian and international presenters, programmers and curators who cannot attend the whole International Presenters Program 2026. The DAILY PASS badge provides access to all the IPP programming of the selected day, including the evening mainstage performances. For the full IPP 2026 experience, consider the full pass registration.

ARTIST BADGE

Available to dance artists & professionals. The ARTIST badge provides access to networking events including “This Is Not A Pitch” session on Thursday, October 22nd and select IPP showcases and activities, as well as discounted tickets to the mainstage FFDN festival programming (at a price of $15 + service fees).

Fall For Dance North’s International Presenters Program (IPP) is back October 21 - 24, 2026, and we are inviting local professional dance artists to apply for our Open Call. IPP is an opportunity for Canadian artists to showcase their tour-ready work, and engage with national and international dance presenters, curators, artistic directors and cultural leaders. 

  • Program Dates: Oct 21-24, 2026
  • Apply by: June 18th, 2026
  • Results notification: End of July

Local artists are offered venue space and basic technical support for a 15 minute showcase, as well as an IPP artist badge to access the program’s events and activities, networking opportunities with presenters, and discounted tickets to Fall for Dance North Festival performances.  Artists will also receive guidance from industry experts and past successful artists as part of a newly initiated “Pitch & Network” workshop, to help prepare their showcase in advance of the program.

Criteria for applicants:

  • Must be based in the GTA and have at least 5 years of professional experience in dance.
  • Each artist can pitch one completed work that is ready for national and international touring.
  • The work proposed must have already had a world premiere presentation.
  • The work can have previously toured nationally, but not yet toured internationally.

Works are selected based on their readiness and viability for touring.
